What is the climate of the Midwest?

The Midwest's climate varies, but usually it's warm in the summer and COLD in the winter. There is plenty of rain, and snow too (in the winter.) They occasionally get tornadoes, but only in the warmer weather. The climate is affected by both it's location and the Great Lakes. During the winter, most animals migrate to warmer places (usually the South) or hibernate, while people wear heavy clothing, shop indoors, and have a BLAST with fun winter sports. In the summer, people play mainly outdoor sports, like tennis and baseball, shop inside or out, and don't put on layers of clothing.
